A PREMIUM NEWS THEME TO SHOWCASE & COMPLEMENT YOUR CONTENT
As part of our work with Wordpress-Designers we’ve been busy creating some premium themes which will soon be due for release. We’ve worked hard to create some very interesting news/magazine style themes, these theme are really popular these days and I think are a great use of Wordpress, they really do allow you to get the most of the power of Wordpress. One of these theme’s we helped to make was NoGoodNews. Playful name but a seriously useful theme with a lot of clean lines and open space, perfect for a news theme.

Goals for the design
As a news theme it was important to display the various other news items in a way in which you could easily navigate the related news etc. from the page you are on. Using a grid based design allowed us to easily map out where the related news stories and such could fit in.
The Details
The Layout
As mentioned we used a grid template in this design, this meant that we had a great idea of how best to place the various extra elements that we needed to add into the sidebar and the post. The things such as the “share this” detail on the inside post is something which was made easier thanks to the grid based design.
Typography
As a news based theme we realised the importance of headlines and how the look, some clever titles are a great way to attract readers, especially if they are very good looking titles. So we focused on using fonts which were easy to read and looked very elegant.
The Post Page
For the inner page we wanted there to be a way to display the main image very effectively, because a great image is a great way to add interest to your article. As you can see below we made the image the very first thing you see, accompanied by a short description or quote from the article, so as soon as you see the page you get a very good idea about what you are about to read.
Simple
We tried to keep the design as simple as possible, but as functional and powerful as we could. We wanted the theme to allow you to easily show off & compliment your content. The mix of fonts, colour and layout helped to achieve this.

One tip though, when doing your PS mockups turn anti-aliasing off to make the text look more like web rendered type

Will images be auto-resized with a script in place for the front page so multiple images wouldn’t have to be uploaded?

I bought this theme a few month ago and adapt it for the new version of my actualy blog, but what you say on this post feel no true ! There is a difference with what i upload and what you show.
For exemple, the related posts under the comment form (with pictures) is not in the code.
So, i love it, but nobody here or in your section “get satisfaction” give answer.
